Wireless charging nowadays seems like a high tech consumer electronic products. However, it will be totally different from now when September comes.
The latest iPhone 6 rumours claim the device will contain wireless charging and other functions like NFC, better 4G antenna, and bigger screen.
For wireless charging, Apple is said to be ready to commit to one of the standards Alliance for Wireless Power (A4WP) and the Power Matters Alliance (PMA). VentureBeat’s source describes it as a “surface under the shell which connects to an inductive charging surface for energy transfer.”Also, Qi wireless charging is still on the lists.
But we shouldn't be happy for these at this moment. VentureBeat’s sources say while these features are apparently in place, anything can change from now until the device’s launch this fall.
Will Apple bring us the new concept of wireless charging? Let wait and see.
